Who we are
Chacevia is a study app for students. You can reach us at chacevia@gmail.com
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, so you can sign in. Handled by Supabase, our database provider.
What you put in the app. Your class schedule, your classes, your assignments and due dates, and your drawing of Rocco.
What you send to the tools. When you use a study tool, whatever you give it — a document, a voice memo, a question — is sent to OpenAI to generate the result. We don't use it to train anything.
Your coin balance, your streak, and whether you have Pro.
Your notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can send reminders to your phone. It's deleted when you sign out.
Your payment, if you buy Pro. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store the fact that a purchase happened, the amount, and Stripe's reference for it.
Your age, if you tell us during setup.
What we do not collect
Focus Mode never tells us which apps you block. Apple's Screen Time system gives the app anonymous tokens for the apps you pick, not names. The app literally cannot tell whether you selected Instagram or a calculator. Your selections and your app usage stay on your phone and are never sent to us, not even in an anonymised form. This is required by Apple and we've built it that way.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your photos beyond a schedule photo you deliberately take, your browsing, or anything from other apps.
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Each of them has their own privacy policy. We share with nobody else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your data stays while your account exists. Delete your account and we delete your account data, your schedule, and your assignments. Purchase records are kept for accounting and legal reasons.
Your choices
Turn off notifications in your phone's Settings, or in the app.
Turn off Focus Mode in the app's settings at any time. You can also revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings → Screen Time.
Delete your account from the app's settings, or email us and we'll do it.
Ask for a copy of your data by emailing us.
If you're in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights over your data — including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Email us and we'll honour them.
Security
Connections are encrypted. Database access is restricted so that your account can only read its own rows. Our payment and account secrets live in server-side environment variables and are never in the app itself.
No system is perfect, and we'd tell you promptly if something went wrong.
Children
Chacevia is made for high school students. You must be 13 or older to create an account. We ask your age during setup and we do not create accounts for anyone under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us at chacevia@gmail.com and we'll delete it.

We'll update this page if things change, and change the date at the top.
